Residential Services

The services offered to our residential customers come in five distinct categories: Preventative Maintenance, Lubrication, Diagnosis, Repair, and Training.

Each service is tailored to meet your specific needs based on environment, use, age of equipment, and machine type.

Shared features across all categories:

  • 1-hour time-of-arrival window: We schedule all routine service calls by geographic zone. We'd much rather be turning wrenches, shaking hands, and talking with customers than driving all over the state. Our superb scheduling means we'll never leave you waiting.
  • Your quoted price is your final price: Our extensive experience in the field allows us to price per job, rather than per hour.
  • No surprise fees: No additional charges for cleaners, lubricants, debris removal, or extra labor. We will never install nor order parts without the customer's express permission.
  • Courtesy call before arrival: Your technician will always attempt to contact you before traveling to your location. If there's a delay due to severe traffic, inclement weather, or if a previous job required unexpected detail, we will let you know well before any problems arise. When scheduling, please indicate if you prefer to receive a text message or a telephone call.
  • One technician per account: Whenever your service date arrives, you'll see the same expert technician at your door. No more worrying about who is going to work on your equipment. Rest assured that your appointed technician intimately knows the inner-workings and history of your particular machine. We never use out-sourcing of any kind.
  • Complimentary corrective maintenance: If there's an issue that we can repair without parts, and without excessive detriment to our schedule, we'll fix it immediately. Often, a sensor will require cleaning or adjustment, a wire harness may need to be re-routed, a software update may be available for install, or we'll notice a squeak that should be silenced. Each of these problems can usually be taken care of within minutes. It's our job to make sure that the little concerns do not become major difficulties down the road.
  • Detailed service report after each visit: An accurate and thorough analysis is as important to us as it is to you. Our customers gain the peace of mind knowing that their equipment's history is explicitly logged and accessible.

Our Services

Preventative Maintenance

Our most popular offering, and the cornerstone of our business. Our preventative maintenance service meets or exceeds all manufacturer recommended protections.

  • Testing: Equipment tested for function once when we arrive, then once again to finish the PM process.
  • Inspection: All surfaces, as well as frame, mechanical, electrical, and safety systems comprehensively examined. All belts, chains, and cables inspected for wear, tension, and travel.
  • Cleaning: Vacuum of surfaces, underside, rollers, motor compartments, and removal of belt debris. Cloth cleaning of surfaces and deck. Brush cleaning of walking belt surface and footpads.
  • Calibration: Motors and sensors positioned to manufacturer’s recommended settings.
  • Console Diagnostics: Reading and clearing of error codes as well as assessment of machine use.
  • Lubrication: Correct lubrication of walking belt/deck, unsealed bearings and bushings, lift screws, guide rails, and rollers.
  • Adjustment: All frame bolts checked for proper torque specifications. Drive and walking belts set appropriately and tested.

Preventative maintenance plans are available in three frequency tiers: Biannually (once every 6 months), Annually (once per year), and Biennially (once every two years). Customers may also opt to receive a single preventative maintenance session if so desired.

Lubrication

Our lubrication plan is an excellent way to save money when a full PM is not required. This service is limited to treadmills only.

  • Inspection: Walking belt and deck checked for wear.
  • Adjustment: Walking belt and decked cleaned, lubricated, aligned, and tested.

Plans are available in three frequency tiers: Monthly (once per month), Quarterly (once every 3 months), and Biannually (once every 6 months).

Diagnosis

When things go wrong, you need a certified, experienced, and inquisitive technician who can quickly find the source of your troubles.

We work directly with your manufacturer to ensure that proper testing protocol is followed. Our continual training, extensive familiarity with numerous equipment types, and keen attention to detail, allows us to find the issues other technicians may miss.

We fully test, inspect, and review your equipment- from cord to console– to confirm the fundamental cause of your machine’s symptoms.

Repair

We specialize in warranty claims and complete equipment restoration. Whether your treadmill no longer has the same spring in its step, your non-functioning elliptical is now your coat rack of choice, or your upright bike is no longer upright – if you exercise with it, we can fix it.

  • Parts ordered on-site: If a machine is covered under warranty, or if a customer has approved of repair, parts will normally be ordered before we leave. You’ll receive a detailed breakdown listing part name and number, price, and shipping information.
  • OEM replacement parts: We supply only the highest quality manufacturer-specified parts for installation on your equipment.
  • Prompt service: Thanks to today’s impressive shipment monitoring capabilities, if your parts arrive on Thursday, your machine will be set for repair on Friday. Your appointment will already be in our schedule once part shipment is confirmed.
  • No used parts: While commonly utilized as a money saving tactic, we do not endorse nor employ installation of previously used parts.

Please note: Due to the nature of our industry, replacement parts frequently need to be ordered. We service more than 25 different brands of equipment. Many manufacturers supply a host of different machine types (e.g., treadmill, elliptical, upright bike, recumbent bike), a vast array of models in each category, and different models spanning 20+ years of feature changes. There are even times when a model will require specific parts based on particular serial numbers.

Training

We’ve seen that many homeowners have taken great interest in maintaining their own equipment, and we’re proud to share what we have learned throughout the years. This is an excellent strategy to save money and prolong the life of your machine.

We take the time to explain and demonstrate our procedures, identify parts and tools utilized, define the lubricants and cleaning supplies required, and clarify the things covered by your owner’s manual, and more.

Please note: Most training sessions take an additional 30 to 60 minutes per appointment, and are only offered to homeowners when added to our preventative maintenance or lubrication service, as we will be completing this procedure during the training process.
